Paintings are dated and signed on the reverse side of the canvas. Front signatures are as noted, or completed at time of purchase. If your painting is unsigned, you have the option of specifying a front signature, or an edge signature.
A photograph of the artist signing the work can be made available to you, if you desire. (Just for fun!) Contact Renée regarding these and other questions.
Visible in the photos is a logo watermark, present only on the website images, for purposes of copyright protection. Paintings themselves have no such markings.
Hanging The Artwork
Gallery wrapped paintings are ready to hang as is, unframed. (Read more in The Materials) Wire hangers can be attached to the side stretcher bars by a professional framer should you prefer. For flush wall mounting, hang the paintings directly on their upper stretcher bars from large secure wall screws. It is recommended that larger paintings (48” square and up) be hung on anchor bolts.
Particularly for multi-piece works, two nails or screws per piece, on a level horizontal line, allow the frames to adjust sideways for perfect alignment with each other. This methodology works well for large single pieces also.
